TORRES! From Red to Blue...

          It was an exciting and frenetic deadline day in the Barclays Premier League January transfer window. A few large stories emerged, and the biggest one was the news that Fernando Torres would be moving to Chelsea. Torres left Melwood in a helicopter to get to the London club's negotiation site and work out a deal reportedly worth 50 million pounds, breaking the English transfer record. Torres did an interview with ChelseaTV shortly after his arrival and made a point of saying he had no bad things to say a bout Liverpool, but he needed to take a step up in his career. Liverpool used the money to sign Andy Carroll for 35 million pounds shortly after on this hectic day.
